Requirements to stream live TV on Plex
All you need to access the Plex live television stream is a plex application. You can get Plex on your PC, mobile devices, and even smart TV. For full details check out the Plex download page.
It will likely come as no surprise but you will also need an Internet connection to watch the Plex strreamed television service.
Plex channels available in the UK
The television channels available on Plex is dependent on where you live. I checked the channels for this article on 17 July 2021 and I was receiving 95 channels here in the UK. Including the following channels.
- IGN
- The Space Channel
- Sports wire
- Reuters
- Yahoo Finance
- Euronews English
- Party Time Karaoke
Conclusion
I was not impressed as during testing of the live TV stream on my Plex setup. I kept having problems with the stream which I found very frustrating.
