Exporting notes from Obsidian to Logseq

This guide will take you through the process of copying your note(s) from an Obsidian vault into a Logseq graph.

Moving files from Obsidian to Logseq

Both Obsidian and Logseq allow you to store your data locally on your computer, and that is how I have my Obsidian value, and Logseq graph set up on my computer.

Obsidian and Logseq store their files as Markdown text files, making the process easier for us.

I’m writing this guide on a PC running Windows 11, but the process should be similar on a Mac or a Linux PC.

  1. Open windows explorer
  2. Go to your Obsidian vault and find the file(s) you want to copy across to your Logseq workspace.
  3. Highlight the file(s) and select the copy operation.
  4. Find and Open your Logseq folder.
  5. Open Logseq, and the notes will appear in the workspace
