Major Social Media Platforms like Twitter and Facebook have increased freedom of speech. Giving billions of us the opportunity to share our thoughts and believes with people from across the planet. I for one think that is brilliant.
Unfortunately Social Media has a darker side such as the Facebook – Cambridge Analetica Data Scandal.
Twitter itself has not been without controversy. After the 2020 US presidential election, it had to add labels to tweets raising concerns about how honest the contents of the Tweets were. While during the 2019 UK General Election, one of the political parties sent a fact check Tweet, from one of its own accounts which had been deliberately rebranded.
As someone who enjoys using Twitter, I have completed the survey myself and I would ask that you do the same. More information and a link to the survey can be found in this Twitter blog post. According to Twitter, the survey will close on Monday, 12 April 2021 at 17:00 PT (00:00 GMT).
