Sunsama Review 2024

Sunsama has become a key part of my productivity system since I started using it in 2023. In this review, I will share my experiences using the application and how it has helped me work not just more efficiently but more effectively by helping me better understand what resources I have available for getting that work done.

What is Sunsama

At its heart, Sunsama is a daily planner application that integrates well with popular calendar, task, and project management applications. This gives you access to your tasks and events in one application.

With all this information in one place, you can effectively plan your day. I have found that this prevents you from overloading yourself with work that you could never do due to not having the time or energy to do so.

Sunsama’s planning workflow allows you to add your task to your calendar for that day and use a strategy called time blocking.

Sunsama’s key features and benefits

For me, Sunsama has two key features that make the application a core element in my workflow. Why don’t we go through each of them in turn?

1. Integration with Other Applications

Sunsama can integrate with several popular productivity applications. I personally integrate Sunsama with Notion and Google Calendar, but it can also integrate with Microsoft Outlook, Trello, and Asana, amongst others.

2. Sunsama Daily planner

Sunsama is designed to help you plan your day, as I explained in my guide on how I make full use of Sunsama. I explain how I try to assign tasks to the day I plan to do them and try my best not to overload them.

Each morning, I use the daily planner and make full use of Sunsama’s ability to move tasks to my calendar to block out time to work on them. I think the real benefit of working this way is that it helps you have a better understanding of how long things really take and, therefore, helps you improve your future planning.

My experiences of using Sunsama

I love the fact that I can pull all my tasks and content into one place so I can see all the things I want to do in one location and the fact that I can use the time-blocking mythology to schedule my work into the day, giving me an idea of when I plan to work on a specific task.
