I would imagine all Football manager players have experienced this. October comes along, and the new Football Manager game is announced. We look forward to playing the new game and exploring the new or updated functionality. Then we take a look at our squad, and if we are a few years into a saved game, there will be a number game generated players to who we have to say goodbye.
My Football Manager 2021 save game
I’m one of those Football Manager players who always play the team I support. I love the fantasy of being in control of the team you support. In my case, that is Liverpool. I felt guilty as I replaced Jurgen Klopp as the Liverpool manager. After all, he had just won the league title.
My best achievement was winning the Premier league every year I have played so far. In one of the campaign, I think it was 2022-23 season we had an injury crisis and went from having a clear lead to scraping over the line. I only won one Champions League trophy. I never seemed quite to have the squad depth I needed. I also won the league cup three times in a row.
Break through players in my save
Football Manager will generate new players each season. It is a fantastic game when you find and sign a generated player as a teenager who develops to become one of the best players in the world.
None of the game generated players is yet a first-team regular. A couple of the game generated players are in the squad and are on the verge of breaking through to the first team, like Samuel De La Cruz, a 19-year-old Spanish player.
Conclusion
So what were the highlights of your Football Manager 2021 save game?
